Ranking at #21 on Forbes 100 Most Powerful Women (link) the president of Ireland is more powerful than JK Rowling (#40), Tony Blair's wife (#62), and Queen Elizabeth II (#75).
Being as proud of my heritage as I am this pleases me greatly. I mean, sure, it's corporate power (obviously if it's a Forbes list), but still. Ireland's president is soaring over three of the top British women (there are 4 British women in total).
